Russian-led forces violate ceasefire nine times in Donbas

The invaders launched nine attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day, using the weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice.

“The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms to shell the units of the Joint Forces,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-led forces opened fire from 120mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles and heavy machine guns on Ukrainian troops near Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk); weapons on infantry fighting vehicles – outside Pavlopol (25km north-west of Mariupol); grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms – in the area of Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol) and Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol); heavy machine guns and small arms – near Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol) and Talakivka (17km north-east of Mariupol).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, illegal armed formations used 82mm mortars and grenade launchers of different systems to shell the Joint Forces units in the area of Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk).

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.
