Russian-led forces launch two attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

Russian occupation forces launched two attacks on Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“In the zone of action of tactical force ‘North’, the enemy fired automatic mounted grenade launchers, automatic small arms and sniping weapon on Ukrainian positions near Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded. The Joint Forces adequately returned fire in response to enemy’s shooting.

The Russian-backed forces also used small arms to shell Ukrainian troops near the area of separation of troops and equipment outside Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk). The Joint Forces units did not return fire.

Today, the enemy has not launched attacks yet.
