Russian-led forces launch six attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

Russian occupation forces launched six attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements three times, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“In the zone of action of tactical force ‘East’, Ukrainian defenders came under automatic mounted grenade launcher and small arms fire near Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk); heavy machine gun and small arms fire – outside Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk),” the JFO Headquarters press centre reports on Facebook.

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops in the area of Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk); 120mm mortars – outside Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk).

Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in shelling.

According to the intelligence, two invaders were annihilated and six more were wounded.

Today, the enemy has not opened fire yet.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire regime.
