Russian-led forces launch three attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

Russian occupation forces launched three attacks, using the weapons banned under the Minsk agreements, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

“In the zone of action of tactical force ‘East’, the enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars to fire on Ukrainian positions near Pavlopol (25km north-west of Mariupol); hand-held antitank grenade launchers and small arms – outside Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk),” the JFO Headquarters press centre reports on Facebook.

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, Ukrainian defenders came under 82mm mortar fire in the area of Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk).

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.

According to the intelligence, two invaders were killed and four more were wounded over the past day.

Today, the enemy has not opened fire yet.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire agreements.
