Ukrainian troops come under 122mm artillery fire in Donbas

Russian occupation forces launched seven attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements six times, on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day.

“In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, invaders used 122mm artillery and 120mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol); 122mm artillery – outside Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); automatic mounted grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms – near Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk); small arms – in the area of Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy fired 82mm mortars on Ukrainian defenders near Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk).

Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in shelling in last day.

According to the intelligence, one invader was killed and two more were wounded.

Today, the enemy has not opened fire yet.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire agreements.
