Three Ukrainian servicemen wounded amid 16 enemy attacks in Donbas

On February 19, Russian occupation forces violated ceasefire agreements 16 times, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements 15 times, in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

In particular, the enemy fired a total of 387 122mm artillery shells and 120mm and 82mm mortars into positions of Ukrainian troops.

“In the zone of action of tactical force ‘East’, Russian-led forces used 122mm artillery to shell Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol); 122mm artillery, 120mm mortars, hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns – outside Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms – in the area of Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy fired 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars on Ukrainian defenders near Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars, ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft mounts, mounted grenade launchers of different systems and heavy machine guns – near Zolote-4 (59km west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars and automatic mounted grenade launchers – outside Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars, BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles, mounted antitank and automatic mounted grenade launchers – in the area of Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk).

Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in shelling.

Today, the enemy has already fired fifteen 82mm mortars and opened fire from mounted antitank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on Ukrainian positions near Katerynivka.
