Militants launched six attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched six attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice, on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“In the zone of action of tactical force ‘East’, the enemy fired grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); grenade launchers – outside Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force ‘North’, militants used automatic grenade launchers and small arms to shell Ukrainian troops in the area of Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk); 120mm and 82mm mortars twice - near Troitske (69km west of Luhansk).

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported over the past day.

According to the intelligence, one militant was killed and three more were wounded on February 7.

Today, the enemy has not opened fire yet.

Ukrainian defenders continue to control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire agreements.
