Militants violated ceasefire in Donbas four times in last day

Militants violated ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine four times over the past day.

“The enemy fired small arms on Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol) and heavy machine guns, small arms on representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine from among the Joint Forces units near Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, militants also used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns outside Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol); grenade launchers and small arms - near Pavlopol (25km northwest of Mariupol); grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms — near Krasnohorivka (21 km west of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions in the area of Zolote-4 (59km west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.

A representative of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine from among the Joint Forces units was wounded in shelling.

According to the intelligence, two invaders were killed and another two were wounded on January 22.

Today, the enemy has not opened fire yet.

The Ukrainian servicemen continue to control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire regime.
