Two enemy drones recorded in Luhansk region

Russian-backed militants in Donbas continue to violate the Minsk agreements on the prohibition of the use of unmanned lethal vehicles.

The press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters reported this with reference to the Ukrainian side of the the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC).

"Russian armed groups and their mercenaries continue to violate the Minsk agreements on the prohibition of the use of unmanned lethal vehicles," the report reads.

Yesterday, on January 10, two UAVs launched from the temporarily occupied territory were recorded on the line of contact near the town of Shchastia (23km north of Luhansk), the JFO Headquarters reported.

"This fact testifies to the provocative actions by the occupants to create preconditions for further intensification of the conflict in Donbas," the Ukrainian side said, calling on the occupational administration and Russia’s armed forces not to neglect the Minsk agreements and to comply with the commitments and not to resort to provocative actions.
