Militants launched five attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched five attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day. The weapons banned under the Minsk agreements were not used.

“Ukrainian strongholds outside Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk) and Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) came under grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms fire,” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in last day.

According to the intelligence, four invaders were killed and two more were wounded on January 7.

Today, the enemy has not opened fire yet.
