Militants continue to launch attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

Militants launched two attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy used BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms to shell Ukrainian troops near Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). Weapons banned under the Minsk agreements were not used,” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported in last day.

According to the intelligence, one invader was killed and another one was wounded on December 30.

Today, the enemy has fired 120mm mortars on JFO positions near Novotoshkivske and 82mm mortars and grenade launchers – near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).

Two Ukrainian servicemen have been wounded today.

According to the intelligence, two invaders have been killed and three more have been wounded.

The Ukrainian military continue to firmly control the enemy along the line of contact, while adhering to a full ceasefire.
