Militants launched 20 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-occupation forces launched 20 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements seven times, on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day.

“In particular, the enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), 82mm mortars – outside Kriakivka (34 km north-west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol),” the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters reports.

Ukrainian strongholds came under grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms fire in the area of Krymske, Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), Pisky, Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk), Luhanske, Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk).

Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in last day.

According to the intelligence, one invader was killed and six more were wounded on December 24.
