Militants launched 10 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 10 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy continued to use weapons banned under the Minsk agreements. In particular, militants used 82mm mortars to shell JFO positions near Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk) and Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

The enemy used weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions outside Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk), Pervomaiske (23km north-west of Mariupol), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol) and Vodiane (19km north-east of Mariupol).

One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in military hostilities over the past day.
