Militants launched 22 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 22 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy continued to use weapons banned under the Minsk agreements. In particular, militants used 82mm and 120mm mortars to shell JFO positions near Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

The enemy used weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Vodiane (19km north-east of Mariupol). 

Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed in military hostilities over the past day.

According to the intelligence, three militants were killed, another four were wounded on December 13.

Today, the enemy has already launched attacks twice on Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol). No casualties have been reported.
