Militants launched 12 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy continued to use weapons banned under the Minsk agreements. In particular, militants used 120mm mortars to shell JFO positions near Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk) and Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

Ukrainian strongholds outside Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk) and Pisky came under 82mm mortar fire.

The enemy also used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire on Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk), Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk) and Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol).

The enemy sniper was detected near Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk).

The situation in the JFO area remained absolutely controlled by Ukrainian troops.

No casualties among Ukrainian servicemen were reported on December 10.

According to the intelligence, one invader was killed and another three were wounded in last day.

Today, the enemy has already launched one attack on the village of Pisky. Heavy weapons were not used.
