Militants launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 14 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements seven times, on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy fired 82mm mortars on Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

Militants also used mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian strongholds near Krymske, Hnutove and Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk). Defenders of Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) and Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk) came under small arms fire. Moreover, the enemy fired automatic grenade launchers near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and heavy machine guns and grenade launchers near Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk),

One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in military hostilities in last day. In addition, soldier Serhiy Prodaniuk went missing during a military clash.

Today, the enemy has launched no attacks on Ukrainian troops so far.
