Militants launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

The situation in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day remained absolutely controlled by the Joint Forces.

“Militants launched 14 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements four times, on Ukrainian troops over the past day. The enemy shelled JFO positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Shumy (50km north of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), ” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

Russian-occupation troops fired grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. In addition, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops near Krymske, Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove. Ukrainian strongholds outside Luhanske came under 120mm mortar fire.

Two servicemen of the Joint Forces were wounded in the armed hostilities in last day.

Today, the enemy has already launched two attacks on Ukrainian strongholds near Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove, using small arms and grenade launchers. No Ukrainian soldiers have been wounded so far.

According to the intelligence, four militants were killed and another one was wounded over the past day.
