Militants launched 11 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 11 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Slavne (25km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reported.

The terrorists fired grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. The enemy used 120mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops near Hnutove. Defenders of Krymske came under fire from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, and Ukrainian strongholds near Novozvanivka – under fire from large-caliber machine guns.

One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in hostilities in last day.
