Militants launched nine attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched nine attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Stepne (29km south-west of Donetsk), Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

The terrorists fired grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. The enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops near Troitske and Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk).

One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the shelling in last day.
