Militants launched nine attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched nine attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements three times, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk), Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

The terrorists fired grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. The enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops near Krymske and 120mm mortars - outside Luhanske.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the shelling in the past day.

According to the intelligence, two militants were killed and another two were wounded.
