Militants launched 19 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 19 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements seven times, on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“Russian-occupation troops fired on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Vilnyi, Kamyshevakha, Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Shumy (50km north of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian troops.

The JFO positions near Luhanske came under 120mm mortar fire, while the strongholds outside Troitske, Pavlopol, Hnutove came under 82mm mortar fire.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in last day.

According to the intelligence, two militants were killed and seven more were wounded in last day.

Today, Russian-occupation troops have already launched three attacks on Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne and Vodiane, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Heavy weapons were not used. There were no casualties among Ukrainian military personnel.
