Militants launched 22 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 22 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day. Heavy weapons were not used.

“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk), Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Russian-occupation troops fired grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

In addition, illegal armed formations shelled the JFO units outside Novotroitske and Shyrokyne, using weapons on infantry combat vehicles. The enemy also used Zu-23-2 anti-aircraft mount near Novotoshkivske.

No casualties were reported among Ukrainian troops in last day. According to the intelligence, four militants was killed, eight more were wounded.

Today, militants have already launched two attacks on Ukrainian troops near Hnutove, using heavy machine guns and small arms.
