Militants launched 33 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 33 attacks, using heavy weaponry twice, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Russian-occupation troops fired 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons on infantry combat vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. The attacks were launched on Ukrainian positions outside Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Shumy (50km north of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Starohnativka(52km south of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

As noted, militants fired 120mm mortars near Shyrokyne, 82mm mortars - outside Vodiane.

One Ukrainian soldier was killed, and other four were wounded in shelling in last day.

According to the intelligence, two militants were killed, five more were wounded.

Today, militants have already shelled Ukrainian troops outside Krymske, Hnutove, Vodiane, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported.
