Militants launched 20 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 20 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day. Heavy weapons were not used.

“Russian-occupation forces used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Shumy (50km north of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Myronivsky (75km north-east of Donetsk),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in last day. According to intelligence, two militants were killed, another two were wounded.

Today, militants have already shelled Ukrainian troops six times, using heavy machine guns and small arms outside Krasnohorivka in Donetsk direction and heavy machine guns near Hnutove, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne in Mariupol direction.
