Militants launched 32 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 32 attacks, including two from weapons banned under the Minsk agreements, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Russian-occupation forces used 120mm and 82mm mortars, artillery weapon of 122mm caliber, tanks, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Novomykhailivka (28km south-west of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

When the situation worsened, the units of the Joint Forces fired back to suppress the enemy's fire.

According to the intelligence, three militants were killed.

Today, militants have already launched two attacks on Ukrainian troops near Hnutove and Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), using grenade launchers.
