Militants launched 24 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 24 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Russian-occupation forces used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and sometimes weapons on infantry fighting vehicles to fire on the defenders of Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). In addition, the enemy used artillery weapon of 122mm caliber to shell Ukrainian positions near Hnutove, 82mm mortars to fire at the area of Pisky and 120mm mortars – near Krymske,” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in shelling in last day.

Today, militants have already opened fire on Ukrainian troops near Novotoshkivske, Krymske, Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk) and Vodiane.

According to the intelligence, one militant was killed.
