Militants launched 23 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 23 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Russian-occupation forces used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). In addition, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske and 120mm mortars to shell Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in shelling in last day.

Today, militants have already opened fire twice on Ukrainian troops near Lebedynske and Vodiane.
