Militants launched 40 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 40 attacks, including one from heavy weapons, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Russian-occupation forces used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and 82mm mortars to fire on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk), Novomykhailivka (28km south-west of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). In addition, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Chermalyk,” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in shelling in last day.

According to the intelligence, two militants were killed and another one was wounded.

Today, militants have already opened fire four times on Ukrainian troops near Krymske, Lebedynske, Pavlopol and Shyrokyne.
