Militants launched 21 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 21 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine in last day. 

“Russian-backed militants launched 21 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the JFO area. Russian-occupation forces used mainly grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and sometimes weapons on infantry fighting vehicles to fire on the JFO units near Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Novomykhailivka (28km south-west of Donetsk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Travneve, Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in shelling in last day. According to the intelligence, five militants were killed and another four were wounded.

Today, militants have already opened fire on Ukrainian troops near Krymske, Novoluhanske, Lebedynske, Hnutove and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). Two Ukrainian soldiers have been wounded today.
