Russian armed groups continue to pull tanks, artillery to contact line in Donbas - JCCC

Russia's armed groups continue to place tanks and artillery near the contact line in Donbas.

The press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters reports this, referring to the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC).

"The Ukrainian side of the JCCC informs that the armed formations of the Russian Federation actively build up the military equipment near the contact line, despite the arrangements for withdrawing of weapons," the report reads.

The monitors record the numerous facts of movement of military equipment outside the defined places of storage of weapons, as well as conduct of works to equip the positions in areas outside of control of the Government of Ukraine. The movement of significant number of armored vehicles (infantry fighting vehicles and armoured personnel vehicles) and personnel of Russian armed units was also recorded.

The JCCC views these measures, which the invaders take in spite of all the agreements and obligations on delineation of parties and withdrawal of military equipment, as a sign of preparation of the armed formations of the Russian Federation for active actions to further escalate the situation on the contact line.
