Militants launched 33 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

The situation in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine remains controlled by Ukrainian troops.

“Militants launched 33 attacks on Ukrainian troops in last day, using heavy weapons banned under the Minsk agreements three times. Russian-occupation forces fired on Ukrainian positions outside Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Zalizne (39km north of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Invaders opened fire from 120mm mortars near Vodiane, 122mm artillery outside Novotroitske, 120mm and 82mm mortars and 122mm artillery in the direction of Lebedynske.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported in last day. According to the intelligence, one militant was wounded.

Today, militants have already opened fire on Ukrainian troops near Luhanske and Pivdenne.
