Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 21 times in last day

Militants launched 21 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

“Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 21 times. Heavy weapons were not used. Militants fired on Ukrainian troops outside Orikhove (75km north of Luhansk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Zalizne (39km north of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol) and Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol). One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and two more soldiers were wounded,” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

According to the intelligence, three militants were killed and three more were wounded.

Today, Russian-backed militants have already launched seven attacks on Ukrainian positions near Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Avdiivka, Vodiane and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol). The enemy fired 82mm mortars three times.
