Two Ukrainian soldiers wounded in Donbas

Russian occupation forces have violated the ceasefire regime along the entire contact line in Donbas over the past 24 hours, using grenade launchers, large-caliber machineguns and small arms, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.

"Over the past day, the enemy opened fire on the positions of our troops 24 times, using heavy weapons twice," reads the report.

In the Luhansk, Popasna, Svitlodarsk and Horlivka sectors there were isolated cases of shelling of JFO units in the area of the villages of Krymske, Kriakivka, Troitske, Novoluhanske and Pivdenne. At the same time, the enemy used an 82mm mortar to fire at the defenders of Novoluhanske and launched eight mines at Ukrainian positions.

"In the Donetsk sector, invaders continued to take active measures to provoke fire in return. Using grenade launchers, large-caliber machineguns and small arms, the enemy fired at the positions of Ukrainian defenders near the settlements of Maryinka, Opytne, Kamianka and Pisky," the press center said.

The situation was also tense in the Mariupol sector, with Russian mercenaries violating 12 times the so-called "bread truce" that was declared for the period of the harvesting campaign.

"Invaders used grenade launchers, large-caliber machineguns and small arms to fire at positions near the settlements of Talakivka, Vodiane, Hnutove, Shyrokyne and Pyschevyk. At the same time, the enemy increased the caliber of the weapons banned by the Minsk agreements, which it used to shell Joint Forces positions near Vodiane. Five 120mm mines were launched at our defenders this time," the report says.

As a result, two of Ukrainian defenders were wounded in this sector.

According to intelligence, four invaders were also wounded.
