International Intelligence Forum held at Ukraine’s Defense Ministry

The International Black Sea Intelligence Forum was held at the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, according to a report on the website of the Main Directorate of Intelligence.

“The International Black Sea Intelligence Forum was held at the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine. Apart from the Ukrainian side, delegations of experts from the defense ministries of eight countries, headed by representatives of senior management, took part in the event. The forum was organized due to the recent significant deterioration of global and regional security situation because aggressive actions by the Russian Federation and the need to find ways to resolve the situation by joint efforts of the countries of the region and leading countries of the world," reads the report.

The international event of such a level was held in Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of Russian armed aggression in Donbas.

Briefings, plenary meetings and panel discussions were held during the forum to discuss and consider current and possible threats to regional and world security, as well as to determine ways to counteract Russian aggression.
