Ukraine’s Government establishes Council for Trade and Sustainable Development

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established the Council for Trade and Sustainable Development, which will be headed by Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine – Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska.

The corresponding decision was taken at the Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday, the Government portal reports.

"On June 13, on the proposal of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established the Council for Trade and Sustainable Development... The membership of the Council will include representatives of government bodies and civil society. The Council will be headed by Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine – Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska," the statement reads.

It is noted that the Council's task is to organize the work of the Consultative Group on Trade and Sustainable Development in accordance with the provisions of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement on supporting civil society, trade and sustainable development.
