NATO-Ukraine working group members discuss priorities for defense and technical cooperation

Members of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on Defense Technical Cooperation discussed the results of the cooperation and plans for further work.

This was reported by the press office of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

"As part of the deepening of practical partnership between Ukraine and NATO in the defense and technical sphere, on May 23, 2018, the 26th regular meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on Defense Technical Cooperation took place in Odesa," the report reads.

The delegation of Ukraine was headed by First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Chairman of the Interdepartmental Commission on the policy of military and technical cooperation and export control Oleh Hladkovsky; the NATO delegation was led by Assistant Secretary General for Defense Investment Camille Grand.

The parties discussed the results of cooperation in the field of armaments, clarified the priorities within the framework of the Roadmap for NATO-Ukraine Defense-Technical Cooperation and the tasks for its implementation in the second half of 2018.
