Two Ukrainian soldiers killed, four wounded in Donbas in last day

Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed and another four were wounded as a result of the enemy attacks in the Joint Force Operation area in Donbas in the past day.

Defense Ministry Spokesman Dmytro Hutsuliak said this at a briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Two Ukrainian heroes born in 1977 and 1998 were killed as a result of shelling of Russian-occupation troops.  We extend our sincere condolences to their families and friends. Four more soldiers were wounded," Hutsuliak said.

He also added that Russian-backed militants launched 66 targeted attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day. The Ukrainian troops returned fire more than 20 times using weapons not prohibited under the Minsk agreements.
