NATO to support Ukraine and continue to exert pressure on Russia

NATO has welcomed a progress in reforming the security and defense sector of Ukraine under the conditions of continued pressure on Russia.

Chairman of the NATO Military Committee General Petr Pavel stated this on Wednesday, Ukrinform's correspondent in Brussels reported.

"We will continue our partnership for Ukraine to be successful in the military and economic sectors. This is the best response to Russia's approach towards Ukraine," the Czech general said.

He also stresses that his assessments of the progress of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the path of reforms are very high.

"We will continue to exert pressure on Russia so that it respects international norms," the chairman of the NATO Military Committee said.
