One Ukrainian soldier killed, another two wounded in Donbas in last day

One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and another two were wounded as a result of the enemy attacks in the Joint Force Operation area in Donbas.

Defense Ministry Spokesman Dmytro Hutsuliak said this at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"A Ukrainian soldier, born in 1985, was killed in shelling of Russian-occupation troops. Two more soldiers were wounded," Hutsuliak said.

According to him, militants launched 45 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the past day. The Ukrainian troops had to return fire 25 times to save their lives, using weapons not prohibited by the Minsk accords.

Since midnight May 16, militants have fired at Ukrainian strongholds ten times. As of morning, no losses among Ukrainian military were reported.
