“Over the past day, May 14, the situation in the Joint Force Operation area in Donbas remained difficult. The intensity of fighting on the contact line abated,” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

As noted, Russian-occupation forces violated the ceasefire regime 42 times, using weapons prohibited under the Minsk accords in 11 cases.

In Luhansk region, the enemy launched attacks trying to provoke the Ukrainian soldiers outside Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk) and Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk).

In Donetsk region, the active armed hostilities were ongoing near Zalizne (39km north of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk). The defensive lines of the Ukrainian units remained untouched.

Over the past day, no casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.
