Five Ukrainian soldiers wounded and injured in Donbas over past day

Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded and other two servicemen were injured in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Spokesperson Maksym Prauta said this at a press briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"As a result of enemy shelling, three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded and other two were injured. One soldier is in critical condition, and the state of health of other four servicepersons is good,” he said.

Prauta added that Russian-backed militants launched 52 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in Donbas over the past day.
