Eight Ukrainian soldiers wounded, three injured in Donbas over past day

Eight Ukrainian soldiers were wounded and other three servicemen were injured in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Spokesperson Maksym Prauta said this at a press briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"As a result of enemy shelling, fortunately, there were no losses among Ukrainian military, but eight defenders were wounded, and other three servicemen were injured,” he said.

Prauta added that all wounded and injured soldiers were immediately taken to medical institutions, where they were provided with medical assistance.
