Seven countries already interested in purchasing Ukrainian Vilkha missile complex

Seven countries have already expressed interest in holding talks on the purchase of Ukrainian Vilkha missile complex.

"The testing was attended by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, military leaders, experts and military attaches from seven world countries, who expressed their interest in holding talks on the purchase of new powerful Ukrainian weaponry," the press service of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reports.

However, despite the great interest of foreign partners, "the priority for us is to provide domestic Armed Forces with the missile complexes," said Oleksandr Turchynov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Turchynov noted that the mass production of the missile would start in 2018. "This is the great joint success of Ukrainian scientists, designers, industrialists and military personnel, who managed to fulfill the most ambitious task in the shortest possible time," he said.
