Militants launched 20 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants continue to violate the Easter ceasefire. The aggressor launched 20 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in Donbas over the past day. 

This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

In Donetsk direction, terrorists fired 82mm mortars at Ukrainian positions in Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk). Defenders of Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk) came under grenade launcher, heavy machine gun, sniper and small arms fire. The enemy also used grenade launchers to fire at Ukrainian strongholds outside Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), heavy machine guns – near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). ATO troops also came under small arms fire near Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Vodiane.

In Luhansk direction, ceasefire was observed.

No casualties were reported in eastern Ukraine in last day.
