Three Ukrainian soldiers wounded, one injured in Donbas over past day

Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded and another one was injured as a result of the enemy shelling in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in Donbas over the past day. Another soldier died as a result of careless handling of weapons.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Spokesman for ATO issues Dmytro Hutsuliak said this at a briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded and another one was injured as a result of the shelling by Russian occupation forces. They were immediately taken to a mobile hospital. The health condition of one of the servicemen was reported as difficult and of other three defenders as satisfactory. In addition, unfortunately, one Ukrainian soldier died as a result of careless handling of weapons,” he said.

Russian-backed militants launched 13 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the ATO area in Donbas over the past day, the ATO Headquarters press center reported.
