Militants launched five attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched five attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in Donbas over the past day. 

This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

In Donetsk direction, the enemy fired 120mm mortars at Ukrainian positions outside Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), violating the Minsk agreements. ATO troops also came under light anti-tank grenade launcher fire near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). In addition, militants fired over 40 mortars of 82mm caliber and grenade launchers of different types at Ukrainian strongholds outside Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, the enemy shelled Ukrainian defenders near Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), using small arms.

As the ATO Headquarters press center reported, two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded and another one was injured as a result of the enemy shelling in last day.
