Militants launched 3 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants violated ceasefire in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in eastern Ukraine three times over the past day. 

This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

“The enemy violated ceasefire three times over the past day. Two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were wounded,” the report reads.

In Donetsk direction, illegal armed formations fired 120mm mortars on Ukrainian positions near Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk). ATO troops also came under 82mm mortar fire outside Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol). In addition, the enemy used grenade launchers of different types to shell the defenders of Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk).

As the ATO Headquarters reported, two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in a combat mission. They were immediately taken to a military hospital and provided with necessary medical assistance.
