Militants using 120mm mortars in eastern Ukraine

Russian-backed militants violated ceasefire in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in eastern Ukraine two times over the past day. 

This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

"The ceasefire regime was observed along the entire demarcation line for almost 24 hours. At about 23:00, the Russian-occupation troops rudely violated the Minsk accords. Over the past day, militants launched two attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the report reads.

In Luhansk direction, the enemy used heavy mortars in the arc of Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk). Russian-backed militants launched two attacks on Ukrainian positions near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), using 120mm mortars and heavy machine guns.

No ceasefire violations were observed in other areas.

The ATO Headquarters press center also reported that no Ukrainian servicemen were killed or wounded in last day.
