Militants launched three attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched three attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area.

This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded as a result of the enemy shelling. They were immediately taken to a hospital and provided with the necessary medical care.

In Luhansk direction, the enemy used a rocket-propelled grenade and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Travneve. The outskirts of Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk) came under infantry weapons fire.

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants opened fire from 82mm mortars, small arms and heavy machine guns on the defenders of Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol).

Ukrainian troops did not return fire, the ATO Headquarters reported.
