Militants launched five attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

No ceasefire violations were recorded along the demarcation line in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in eastern Ukraine in the second half of the last day since 15:30.

However, in the first half of the day, Russian-backed militants launched five attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As reported, in Donetsk direction, the enemy opened fire from 82mm mortars on Ukrainian strongholds outside Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk) and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk). Militants also fired grenade launchers of different types and small infantry weapons near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and launched provocative attacks on the defenders of Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), using small arms. Ukrainian troops did not return fire. No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.

In addition, the enemy UAVs, which are banned under the Minsk agreements, were recorded in Donetsk region.
